« L’œil doit se balader dans la pièce, sur la pièce, l’œuvre ne doit pas se voir tout à la fois, mais en même temps, elle doit se voir en une fois car sinon cela voudrait dire que l’on a pas une mais plusieurs pièces. Donc l’œuvre doit se voir en une fois mais pas tout à la fois. En tout cas, pas en même temps. »

« The eye must wander around the room, over the piece; the work should not be seen all at once, but at the same time, it should be seen in one go because otherwise, it would mean that we have not one but several pieces. So the work must be seen in one go but not all at once. In any case, not at the same time. »

This text was not actually meant to appear, at least not in this form, as a standalone production. It was a footnote, a sort of note of intent to myself, the principle that needed to be applied.

But in trying to give substance to this intention through another body, I realized that as a text, it already had one. So I ended up displaying it prominently, of course, to put into practice what the text proposes, and creating a custom font for it, where each character resembles a text gray, becoming increasingly illegible as you get closer.
