The artistic creation journey at Heidenkirche is an unusual encounter between artworks and a historic site rich with stories, located in the heart of the Vosges forests in northern France.
Following an eight-day forest residency, sixteen students from ÉSAL and HEAR will develop artistic proposals that respond sensitively to this unique context. For the 5th year, they will draw inspiration from the imagination and experience of the night as a guiding thread, inviting the public to wander along the trails and rediscover how such an environment captivates our attention in a fresh, new way.
This project is a partnership between Festival des Paysages, Artopie, the ONF, the École Supérieure d’Art de Lorraine, and the Haute École des Arts du Rhin.
